Code "yellow" rain warning for 19 provinces
The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that a "yellow" meteorological warning has been issued for 19 provinces.
In the statement made on the social media account of the ministry, according to the latest information received from the General Directorate of Meteorology, today, locally strong thunderstorms will be effective in Sivas, Kayseri, east of Yozgat, Kırşehir and Nevşehir.
Showers will be locally heavy in the inner Aegean region, Afyonkarahisar, Uşak and Denizli, and the inner parts of Muğla, the east of İzmir, Aydın and Manisa, the south and east of Kütahya, the inner parts of the Western Mediterranean, Isparta and Burdur, and the inner parts of Antalya, the south and east of Eskişehir in the northwest of Central Anatolia, the north of Konya and the south and west of Ankara.
Citizens need to be careful against floods, inundations, lightning, strong winds and transportation disruptions.
